Abstract
A communication method performed by a UE 100 in a mobile communication system for providing a Multicast Broadcast Service (MBS) includes: receiving, in an RRC idle state or an RRC inactive state, a multicast session from a network; measuring, in a multicast reception state in which the multicast session is being received, reception quality from the network; and performing processing of transitioning to an RRC connected state for multicast reception in response to the measured reception quality being lower than a threshold value.
