Abstract

A method carried out by a computer(s) to generate cut-point data containing information indicating a three-dimensional position of a point on a cane of a fruit tree where the cane is to be cut off includes acquiring (S050) information on a pruning mode selected by a user from among pruning modes having respectively different methods of determining a point(s) on a cane(s) where cutting is to be performed, based on sensor data of the cane(s) acquired (S100) by a sensor or sensors and based on the selected pruning mode, determining (S200) one or more points where cutting is to be performed for the cane(s), and generating (S300) the cut-point data. A second pruning mode includes settings of priority levels of two or more attributes of the cane(s) in the determination of the point or points where cutting is to be performed are identical to a first pruning mode.
