Abstract
Provided is a lipid nanoparticle that achieves sufficient lipid nanoparticle intake into a cell and is capable of efficiently achieving expression of a payload in the lipid nanoparticle. A lipid nanoparticle containing an amphiphilic compound, wherein the amphiphilic compound includes: (i) a site (I) containing a constituent unit (A) derived from a monomer (a) having two or more hydroxy groups in a molecule and having from 2 to 10 carbon atoms constituting a side chain among carbon atoms of the constituent unit; and (ii) a hydrocarbon group having 8 or more carbon atoms.
