Abstract

The present invention provides a vent plug in which air is discharged in a vent formed in a mold as an air discharge port during a vulcanization molding stage for a tire, and rubber for manufacturing a green tire is prevented from inflowing into the vent. The vent plug includes a housing (10) inserted into the vent hole; an actuator (20) installed inside the housing; and an opening/closing drive spring (30) installed inside the housing to provide an elastic force to the actuator, wherein the actuator (20) has a head (21) formed at one end thereof, and one end of opposite ends of the spring (30) is caught by a step formed on a bottom inside the housing (10) , and the other end is caught by the head (21) , whereby, when the actuator is inserted into the housing, the opening/closing drive spring is configured to push a portion of the actuator to an outside of the housing.
