Abstract

An actuation and blocking system of a joint suitable for being used in a piece of furniture or other furnishing item (M) with at least one shoulder (11) and at least one shelf or base (12) or top (13) that can be positioned for stably interconnecting, by means of a joint (G), said at least one shoulder (11) and at least one shelf or base (12) or top (13) arranged perpendicular to each other, said joint (G) providing a pin (17) equipped with fixing elements to said at least one shoulder (11) and at least one shelf or base (12) or top (13) and at least partially inserted in holes (14,23) of the shoulder (11) and of the shelf or base (12) or top (13), characterized in that said pin (17) provides a side hole (31) suitable for receiving a shaped stem (30) which extends from an actuation and blocking group (27) of the joint (G) positioned on said shelf, or base (12), or top (13) parallel to said floor (P) or said ceiling (S), said floor (P) or said ceiling (S) both being close to said furniture or other furnishing item (M) when assembled, said actuation and blocking group (27) of the joint (G) providing a 90° transmission between a maneuvering point (A), which is accessible from the front or side of the furniture, and said shaped stem (30), which is inserted in said side hole (31,18) of said pin (17).
