A heat-shrinking station (10) for the packaging of packages using heat-shrinkable plastic film comprises at least two side units (16) for emitting hot air, which are arranged on both sides of an area intended to allow the packages to pass longitudinally between an inlet and outlet. The side units (16) each comprise openings (17) for emitting hot air jets, extending vertically and directed towards each other in a direction substantially transverse to a direction between the inlet and outlet. Each side unit (16) can be tilted in the substantially transverse direction. The side units (16) can also be preferably moved towards or away from each other. A conveyor (12) may be provided for transporting the packages between the side units

A stop-lock device for a thermoforming half-mould comprises a pin (70) configured to be engaged with a forming half-mould (10, 20) and comprising a hole (72) at one of its ends. The present disclosure relates to a collimator control apparatus and method using artificial intelligence-based image processing and image analysis. An apparatus according to an aspect of the present disclosure comprises: a 3D camera configured to acquire a depth image of an imaging target; an RGB camera configured to acquire an RGB image of the imaging target; a collimator configured to adjust an irradiation field; a memory storing at least one process associated with controlling the collimator based on the depth image and the RGB image; and a processor configured to execute the process. The processor inputs the depth image and the RGB image into an artificial intelligence model to output a depth map, recognizes an imaging region and an imaging angle using the depth map and the RGB image, extracts a contour of the recognized imaging region to define a measurement region, and sets the irradiation field of the collimator using the measurement region.

A hybrid process furnace (1) comprises a main structure consisting of a radiant section (10) and a convective section (20). The present invention relates to an X-ray apparatus. The X-ray apparatus identifies an imaging region based on images generated from an RGB camera and a 3D camera, calculates a thickness of the imaging region using depth map data generated by the 3D camera, and determines values of exposure parameters used during X-ray imaging based on the calculated thickness value, thereby having a technical effect of allowing an appropriate amount of radiation to be irradiated to the imaging region.

A method of applying a bone plate across a tarsometatarsal joint or two different portions of a metatarsal may involve positioning a bone plate across a separation between two bone portions. The bone plate can have at least two fixation holes and a bend between the holes. A locking screw can be inserted through one or both holes that has a head thread and a shaft thread, where the shaft thread has a pitch greater than a pitch of the head thread. The locking screw can be screwed into an underlying bone portion until the bend in the bone plate is deformed.
