Abstract

Provided are a container storage, an automatic analyzer, and a container storage method capable of improving efficiency of cooling a sample in a container and improving reliability compared to a structure in the related art. The container storage includes: a container case 8 that holds a QC specimen container 4 that accommodates a liquid; a circular ring holder 9 that allows a plurality of container cases 8 to be arranged; and a cooling device. The container case 8 includes a first tubular portion 8a having a first diameter d1 and a second tubular portion 8b located below the first tubular portion 8a in a vertical direction and having a second diameter d2 smaller than the first diameter d1, and at least a part of the second tubular portion 8b is held to be exposed from the circular ring holder 9. The cooling device cools at least the second tubular portion 8b exposed from the circular ring holder 9.
