Abstract
A system and method for processing received radar signal reflections is presented. A range bin matrix is generated from a range-Doppler antenna cube generated using the reflections of the plurality of transmitted radar signals. A a first range bin array that includes a plurality of values associated with different Doppler bins is determined and an offset range bin array that includes the plurality of values of the first range bin array offset by a number of Doppler bins is generated. A first Doppler bin in the first range bin array and the offset range bin array that each include non-zero values is determined and the value associated with the first Doppler bin in the first range bin array is set to a value of zero to generate a corrected range bin array. The radar system determines an estimated direction of arrival using the corrected range bin array.
