Abstract

A control apparatus (5) executes first control when a first abnormal state in which an abnormality is sensed in the middle of execution of a consecutive image acquisition process of a consecutive reading job with a first operation mode selected occurs. The control apparatus (5) executes second control when a second abnormal state in which the abnormality is sensed in the middle of execution of the consecutive image acquisition process of the consecutive reading job with a second operation mode selected occurs. The first control includes causing, by the control apparatus (5), an image processing apparatus (10) to suspend the consecutive image acquisition process. The second control includes causing, by the control apparatus (5), the image processing apparatus (10) to continue the consecutive image acquisition process of the consecutive reading job to an end.
