Abstract

A control apparatus (5) causes a display device (3b) to display one preview page image or at least some of a plurality of preview page images indicating an image read from one abnormality-sensed document sheet or all of a plurality of abnormality-sensed document sheets before a data output process is executed after a consecutive image acquisition process in a consecutive reading job comes to an end in a case where an abnormal state in which an abnormality is sensed in the middle of execution of the consecutive image acquisition process of the consecutive reading job occurs. The control apparatus (5) causes the display device (3b) to display inquiry information for inquiring one instruction of a plurality of candidates including continuation of the consecutive reading job and cancellation of the consecutive reading job. The control apparatus (5) causes an image processing apparatus (10) to execute a process compliant with an instruction of a response to the inquiry information.
