Abstract

The present disclosure discloses a method for determining an image for display, applied to an electronic device. The method includes: in response to switching to a first mode of the electronic device, acquiring, by an image acquisition unit of the electronic device, a first image or a second image, the first image or the second image being different from an image of an environment of the electronic device; in response to switching to a second mode of the electronic device, acquiring, by the image acquisition unit, the image of the environment of the electronic device; in response to switching to a third mode of the electronic device, the image acquisition unit being in an OFF state; and outputting, by the image acquisition unit, an acquired image for display, or outputting, by the image acquisition unit, the acquired image to an application running on the electronic device.
