Abstract

Pulse wave measuring device includes: sensor part; attaching part connected outside sensor part, attachable to subject; fixed part including cylindrical part; movable part inside cylindrical part; rotating part closing cylindrical part's one opening, rotating relative to fixed part about cylindrical part's center axis as rotation axis; sensor holder; pulse wave sensor including housing, strain generator on housing's one side, and facing part on housing's other side, held inside sensor holder such that strain generator is exposed from sensor holder's axial-direction one end; cap fixed to sensor holder's axial-direction other end and connected to rotating part; and pivot and pivot-insertable recess on facing surfaces of facing part and cap. When pivot and recess contact, pulse wave sensor can swing on fulcrum at pivot-and-recess contact. Strain generator is exposed from cylindrical part's other opening. Movable part reciprocates in cylindrical part's axial direction with rotating part's rotation without rotating relative to fixed part.
