Abstract

A frame (3) for a motor vehicle (1) comprises a front frame portion (41), in turn comprising a wheel arch (8) defining a wheel well (9) for accommodating a wheel (2) of the motor vehicle (1), a suspension attachment structure (42) with one or more attachment members (49) configured to allow a suspension (S) of the motor vehicle (1) to be coupled at the wheel well (9), and a longitudinal absorption beam (46) for absorbing energy of a frontal impact of the motor vehicle (1), the longitudinal absorption beam (46) being fixed relative to the suspension attachment structure (42) and extending cantilevered from the suspension attachment structure (42), characterized by comprising at least one conduit (50) extending with continuity at least through the longitudinal absorption beam (46) and the suspension attachment structure (42) between an inlet opening (26) on the longitudinal absorption beam (46) and an outlet opening (27) longitudinally downstream of the suspension attachment structure (42).
