Abstract
A polypropylene-based resin expanded bead has a foamed core layer made of a polypropylene-based resin and a covering layer covering the foamed core layer. The covering layer is made of a linear low density polyethylene, a mass ratio of the covering layer to the foamed core layer is 0.005 or more and 0.05 or less, and the polypropylene-based resin making up the foamed core layer satisfies a predetermined condition (i) or (ii). The expanded bead can significantly reduce steam pressure during in-mold molding, shorten curing time to obtain an expanded beads molded article having a desired shape and excellent appearance even if the curing time is shortened.
