Abstract

The invention relates to a housing (1) for a firestop through penetration device (10), wherein- the housing (1) is preformed to be installed in a breakthrough of a firewall, so as to form a side wall of an axial channel having opposite openings (2, 3) to both sides of the firewall and configured to receive penetrants;- the housing (1) is at least partly metallic; and- in any longitudinal intersecting plane taken along the axial direction of the housing (1), each heat conduction path formed by metallic parts of the housing (1) is interrupted at least once between the opposite openings (2, 3) of the housing (1) by a thermal break.
