Abstract

A battery (200) and an electrical device (100), which apply to the technical field of traction batteries. The battery comprises: a housing (300), which is configured to accommodate battery cells (30); at least two fixing beams (71), wherein the at least two fixing beams are spaced apart in the housing, a space for accommodating the battery cells being formed between every two adjacent fixing beams; fixing seats (72) arranged on the fixing beams; and limiting members (73) which are connected to the fixing seats on different fixing beams. Connecting the limiting members to different fixing beams enables deformation of the fixing beams to be suppressed by means of the limiting members, thus enhancing the strength of the fixing beams, and reducing a degree of deformation of the fixing beams along with the expansion of the battery cells. By means of the provision of the fixing seats, the strength at the joints between the limiting members and the fixing beams is enhanced to reduce failures such as breakage at the joints between the limiting members and the fixing beams; thus, the strength of the fixing beams is further enhanced, thereby better suppressing the expansion of the battery cells, improving the performance of the battery, and reducing potential safety hazards.
