Abstract
Disclosed are a light emitting device and a light emitting display device including the light emitting device. The light emitting device includes a first electrode and a second electrode facing each other, a light emitting layer between the first electrode and the second electrode, a hole transport common layer between the first electrode and the light emitting layer, and an electron transport common layer between the light emitting layer and the second electrode, a first hole transport auxiliary layer and a second hole transport auxiliary layer provided sequentially between the hole transport common layer and the light emitting layer, and an electron blocking layer between the second hole transport auxiliary layer and the light emitting layer. A highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy level of the second hole transport auxiliary layer can be higher than a HOMO energy level of the first hole transport auxiliary layer and a HOMO energy level of the electron blocking layer respectively located on opposite sides of the second hole transport auxiliary layer.
