Abstract
The present invention provides a control system for controlling a surgical workstation 10, comprising an energy controller 14 for controlling energy supply of an energy-based medical device 12 for energy treatment of an object, and an auxiliary controller 20, 24, 28 for controlling operation of at least one auxiliary medical device (18, 22, 26; 118, 122, 126) for interaction with said object on the basis of a different modality than the energy-based medical device.
