Abstract

A design support device for supporting design of a metal-supported zeolite catalyst by using a machine learning model that has learned a correspondence relationship between a zeolite parameter and a metal cation parameter, and reaction yield of a compound is provided, and a metal cation is supported by ion exchange. The design support device includes a parameter generation unit that generates a comprehensive combination of the zeolite parameter and the metal cation parameter; a prediction unit that predicts the reaction yield of the compound corresponding to the combination by using a trained machine learning model; and a candidate output unit that outputs data of a candidate metal-supported zeolite catalyst based on the predicted reaction yield of the compound corresponding to the combination.
