Abstract

The present disclosure relates to ball mill systems, ball mills, ball mill jars and grinding balls, and to methods for grinding materials. A ball mill system comprises a ball mill including a ball mill housing comprising a rotatable base within the housing, the base being configured to eccentrically support a jar and to rotate the jar in a first direction around an axis perpendicular to the base. The ball mill system further comprises a jar configured to receive an input material to be milled and a plurality of grinding balls, and a plurality of grinding balls. The grinding balls comprise an outer hollow ball including through holes and an inner ball inside the outer hollow ball.
