Abstract

The present invention relates to a machining center (1), for the machining of workpieces (P), such as panels made of wood, fiberglass, plywood, plastic, and similar materials, comprising: a worktable (2), on which said panels (P) can be placed for machining; a portal (3) movable with respect to said worktable (2) in an advancement direction (A) for machining the workpiece (P); a machining unit (31) fixed to said portal (3), for machining said panels (P) placed on said worktable (2); and a cleaning assembly (4) integrated with said portal (3), so as to be moved together with said portal (2).The present invention also relates to a method for machining and cleaning a workpiece (P).
