Abstract

A robot system 1 includes a robot drive device 100 that drives a robot 10, and a computing device 200 that performs network communication with the robot drive device 100 and is capable of executing an application 211 necessary for control of the robot 10 in the robot drive device 100, wherein the computing device 200 has a robot service 213 that, upon any one of a plurality of computing APIs 212, which are APIs callable by the application 211, being called, executes processing according to the called computing API 212, and relays communication between the application 211 and the robot drive device 100 according to the content of the processing to be executed.
