Abstract

The invention is related to a device (1, 2) included in a network, for operating at least one building infrastructure device (3, 4) included in the network and establishing a communication in the network, comprising a first application controller (11, 21) configured to be in an operating mode and to have installed an operating software stack based on which at least one building infrastructure device is operated and communication in the network is established, and a second application controller (12, 22) configured to be in an idle mode, and the device (1, 2) is further configured to install on the first or second application controller (11, 12, 21, 22) a software stack to be installed different from the installed software stack. The invention is also related to a system thereof.
