Abstract

A display control device (42) including an object detection section (62) that detects an object using an other-sensor (22) provided to a vehicle other than a camera (24), and that identifies a classification of the object from an image captured by the camera (24) provided to the vehicle, and a display control section (64) that performs transition state display when switching is being performed on a display (56, 58) according to a transition of the object between a first object display in which a classification of an object is unable to be identified due to being inside a detection range of the other-sensor (22) but outside an identification range of object classification by the camera (24), and a second object display in which a classification of an object is able to be identified due to being inside the identification range of the camera (24), so as to indicate display of the object is being switched.
