Abstract

In an example where a processing unit configured to generate image data performs processing in connection with a plurality of applications, there is room for improvement in how the processing unit is to be used. When a first processing unit performs first application processing and second application processing, a second processing unit performs processing for generating, based on the first application processing, second image data at a second resolution lower than a first resolution in a second time period within a unit time period, the second time period being shorter than a first time period, and performs processing for generating, based on the second application processing, third image data in a third time period within the unit time period, the third time period being different from the second time period. An output unit outputs an output image to a display, the output image including a second area where the second image data is shown and a third area where the third image data is shown, the second area being smaller than a first area and the third area being different from the second area.
