Abstract
A secondary battery and a method of manufacturing the same includes an electrode assembly, an exterior portion that accommodates the electrode assembly, a molding portion arranged along a periphery of the exterior portion, and a connecting portion between the exterior portion and the molding portion and that is attachable to the exterior portion. The molding portion surrounds and is coupled to the connecting portion and the exterior portion.
