Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a battery module including: a plurality of battery cells; a module case configured to store the plurality of battery cells and having a first venting hole formed on one side thereof to discharge venting gas generated from the battery cell to an outside; and a compression member configured to block fluid movement between at least two battery cells between the plurality of battery cells and one side of the module case.
