Abstract

An electric machine stator (2) has a casing (4) defining an internal cavity (5) housing a core (6) made of ferromagnetic material, arranged axially between two chambers (23,27) communicating respectively with an inlet conduit (25) and with an outlet conduit (27), to receive and discharge a heat exchange liquid; the core (6) consists of a plurality of teeth (7) arranged about a longitudinal axis (A) and circumferentially defining between each other a plurality of slots (8) engaged by coils (18) made of electrically conductive material, wound around the teeth (7); the two chambers (23,27) in the stator (2) communicate with each other through the slots (8) and through a plurality of channels (30) formed in the teeth (7); the stator (2) also has an adjustment device (40) configurable to achieve a first configuration, in which it allows passage of the heat exchange liquid in the channels (30), and a second configuration, in which it prevents passage of the heat exchange liquid in the channels (30).
