Abstract

The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and apparatus for IAB (integrated access and backhaul)-node integration, the method comprising: a DU of the IAB-node is configured by an OAM or an MT of the IAB-node is configured by an RRC-terminating IAB-donor-CU with a base station identity of an F1-terminating IAB-donor-CU; and the DU of the IAB-node performs F1 setup with the F1-terminating IAB-donor-CU according to the base station identity. Thereby, a problem of IAB-node integration is solved, so that the IAB-MT and a collocated IAB-DU are able to be integrated onto different donor-CUs, which improves flexibility of a network configuration.
