Abstract

A method and an apparatus for receiving system information in a wireless communication system are provided. A method performed by a UE comprises: receiving configuration information related to a system information block 1 (SIB1) request on a first cell; and monitoring a control channel to detect control information related to the SIB1 on a second cell based on the configuration information. The configuration information comprises window duration information related to a number of slots in which the UE monitors the control channel to detect the control information.
