Abstract

Embodiments of this disclosure provide data reception and data transmission methods and apparatuses thereof. The method includes: receiving first indication information by a terminal equipment; and after the first indication information is received and before a first time point, transmitting uplink data to a target cell by using a first configured grant occasion of a first configured grant. Hence, the target cell may quickly obtain information of the uplink beam and/or the downlink beam after handover, thereby reducing interruption times, and the terminal equipment may use resources of the configured grant more efficiently, thereby improving a successful rate of uplink transmission and resource utilization rate.
