Abstract
The embodiments of the present application provide a PRACH transmission method and an apparatus therefor, and a PRACH reception method and an apparatus therefor. The method includes: a terminal equipment determines a second number of PRACH occasions (ROs) related to a time period, wherein the time period is a first number of association pattern periods of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) and PRACH occasions (ROs) (i.e., SSB-to-RO association pattern periods); and the terminal equipment repeatedly transmits a preamble on the second number of ROs.
