Abstract

An electroluminescent display device can include a substrate (100), a first electrode (400) on the substrate (100), a light emitting unit (500) including a light emitting layer disposed on the first electrode (400), and a second electrode (600) on the light emitting unit (500). A peak wavelength of a photoluminescence (PL) spectrum of the light emitting layer is shorter than a peak wavelength of an out-coupling OC curve of the light emitting unit (500) at a front viewing angle, and is longer than a peak wavelength of the OC curve of the light emitting unit (500) at a 45° side viewing angle.
