Abstract

The present disclosure generally relates to an electronic circuit patch (1) for use in conjunction with a wound dressing (2) and having a lateral (x) and a longitudinal (y) extension, wherein the patch (1) comprises:- a transfer layer (3) having a top side (3a) and a bottom side (3b), wherein at least the bottom side (3b) is adhesive;- a support layer (4) arranged on top side (3a) of the transfer layer (3); and- a release liner (5) releasably attached to the bottom side (3b) of the transfer layer (3), wherein the patch (1) comprises an aperture (6) extending through at least the transfer layer (3), and wherein the patch (1) comprises a first electronic circuit (7) arranged along at least a portion of the aperture (6).The present disclosure also relates to a wound dressing assembly (9) comprising the electronic circuit patch (1) and a wound dressing (2).
