Abstract

Dispensing assembly (10) for dispensing a medicament, comprising a cartridge (20) and a needle supporting member (42). The cartridge (20) comprises a perforable septum (24) and a first aseptic chamber (25) defined between the perforable septum (24) and a first perforable membrane (27) arranged at an end of the cartridge (20) proximal to the needle supporting member (42). The latter comprises a perforating needle (32) and a second aseptic chamber (45) defined around the perforating needle (32) between a closed wall (44) which is distal from the cartridge (20) and a second perforable membrane (47) associated with the needle supporting member (42) at an end thereof proximal to the cartridge (20). The dispensing assembly (10) is configured to pass from a first operating configuration in which the perforating needle (32) is distant from the perforable septum (24) and a second operating configuration in which the perforating needle (32) has perforated the perforable septum (24). During this passage, the second perforable membrane (47) is initially perforated by a first perforating member (28) associated with the cartridge (20) and the first perforable membrane (27) is perforated by a second perforating member (48) associated with the needle supporting member (42) and, subsequently, the perforating needle (32) perforates the perforable septum (24).
