Abstract

Disclosed in the present application are a battery processing device and a processing method. The battery processing device includes a material conveying assembly, a pairing assembly, and a welding assembly. The material conveying assembly is configured to convey a first electrode assembly and a second electrode assembly, where the first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly each include an electrode main body and a tab part disposed on the electrode main body. The pairing assembly is configured to pair the first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly such that the electrode main body of the first electrode assembly and the electrode main body of the second electrode assembly are stacked on each other. The welding assembly is configured to weld the tab part of the paired first electrode assembly and the tab part of the paired second electrode assembly. In this way, the production efficiency of the battery cell can be improved.
