Abstract

The disclosure provides a method for manufacturing a tinted ophthalmic device (5) having at least one curved face (14) thanks to at least one inkjet print head (6), the method comprising providing a manufacturing file comprising at least one image; wherein the at least one image is defined by a network of pixels representative of a distribution of tint material for inkjet printing a tint layer (17) on the at least one curved face of the ophthalmic device, and the at least one image is planar and determined as a function of at least curvature geometrical characteristics of the at least one curved face of the tinted ophthalmic device to manufacture.
