Abstract

The present invention relates to an ophthalmic article (10) comprising: an ophthalmic wafer (11) with a first face (111), a second face (112) opposite the first face and microstructures(114), the microstructures being either on the first face or between the first face and the second face; an adhesion promotion layer (13) on the first face of the ophthalmic wafer; a lens substrate (12) in contact with the adhesion promotion layer; wherein the adhesion promotion layer comprises an adhesive promoter having at least one of the following functional groups: -NH2, -SH, -NCO and -OH. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the ophthalmic article.
