Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for the treatment of an aqueous stream containing one or more constituents, such as ions, acids, bases, natural organic matter, particles, metals and organic impurities, for obtaining one or more substreams in which the concentration of one or more constituents is increased compared to the starting aqueous stream.
