Abstract

The present invention relates to a translucent composition comprising :a) From 60 to 98% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition, of a semi-crystalline polyamide matrix comprising :- 45 to 99% by weight of a polyamide A based on the total weight of the matrix, wherein the C/N ratio of the polyamide A is greater than 6.5- 1 to 55% by weight of a polyamide B based on the total weight of the polyamide matrix, wherein the C/N ratio of the polyamide A is greater than 6.5;polyamides A and B have, in absolute value, at least one difference in C/N ratios equal to | C/N ratio (A) - C/N ratio (B)| ≤ 3,the polyamide A comprising at least 45 mol of at least one unit comprising a number of carbon atoms between the amide functional groups (including the carbonyl of the amide) denoted C1,the polyamide B comprising at least 30 mol% of at least one unit comprising a number of carbon atoms between the amide functions (including the carbonyl of the amide) denoted C2,with at least one of the equations lC1-C2| ≤ 3 being fulfilled, if the polyamides A and B each comprise more than one C1 and/or more than one C2 ;b) from 2 to 25% by weight, preferably from 3 to 20%,based on the total weight of the composition, of short glass fibers chosen among :- E glass fiber based on the total weight of the glass fiber;- NE glass fiber based on the total weight of the glass fiber; and their mixtures.
