Abstract
The mold unit (1) comprises: - a mold body (2) comprising first and second body parts (2B) forming a molding cavity (6) about a central axis (X6), and - a frame body (4) comprising first and second frames (4B) for holding the first and second body parts (2B). The mold unit (1) can be placed selectively: - closed, the first and second frames (4B) being joined on a frame interface (J4), and the first and second body part (2B) are joined on a body interface (J2), and - open, the first body part (2A) being separated from the second body part (2B) for removing the container body. The mold unit (1) has an inlet (8) for a means to enter the cavity and an outlet (10) for a means to exit the cavity, both being concentric to the central axis (X6). The frame interface (J4) is offset from the inlet (6) and/or the outlet (10) so that the inlet (6) and/or the outlet (10) is/are entirely provided in the first frame (4A).
