Abstract

We disclose an accessory (9) for use with a hob extractor (1), the hob extractor (1) includ-ing a cooking hob having a hob plane (2) and a fume extraction device located below said hob plane (2) in fluid communication with an aspiration opening (4) located in said hob plane (2), the accessory (9) comprising: a base portion (10) that preferably extends in a plane; a hollow duct portion (11) departing from said base portion (10) and forming an aspira-tion channel, wherein said base portion (10) has at least one aperture (16) that is in fluid communication with said aspiration channel; and a lighting device (13) mounted on the duct portion (11), said lighting device (13) compris-ing at least one light source (14); wherein the duct portion (11) has at least one air inlet opening (12) that is located along said duct portion (11) at a distance (D) from said base portion (10).
