Abstract

According to some embodiments, a battery management device includes an interface configured to acquire battery data of a battery and a controller configured to calculate a first state of health (SOH) value of the battery based on the battery data, calculate a first SOH correction value for the first SOH value using a regression equation that calculates an SOH correction value based on error factors causing an error in the first SOH value, and calculate a second SOH value by applying the first SOH correction value to the first SOH value.
