Abstract

A computer implemented method of determining an environmental condition score of a geographical area, comprising: - obtaining (S1) image data (SID) of said geographical area, from satellite imagery (SAT) during for a given time period, - forming (S2) a cell grid across said image data of the geographical area, said cell grid comprising a plurality of cells (H); - processing (S3) the plurality of cells (H), comprising, for one cell of said plurality of cells: - determining (S32) a value of a vegetation condition sub-score (VEG<H>) for said cell; - determining (S33) a value of an infrastructure condition sub-score (INF<H>) for said cell; and - deriving (S35) a value of the environmental condition score (ENV<H>) for said cell at said time period from at least the vegetation condition sub-score and the infrastructure condition sub-score, and - providing (S4) the values of at least the environmental condition score (ENV<H>) for the plurality of cells corresponding to the given time period to a user through a human-machine interface.
