Abstract

A battery and an electrical device. The battery comprises an electrolyte solution. The electrolyte solution comprises a first diluent, the first diluent comprising at least one of the compounds represented by formulas (I) to (IV),where R₁₁, R₁₂, R₁₃, R₁₄, R₂₁, R₂₂, R₂₃, R₂₄, R₃₁, R₃₂, R₃₃, R₃₄, R₃₅, R₄₁, R₄₂, R₄₃ and R₄₄ each independently comprise any one of H, F, Cl, Br, I, alkyl having 1-3 carbon atoms, and haloalkyl having 1-3 carbon atoms, and at least one of R₁₁, R₁₂, R₁₃ and R₁₄ comprises any one of haloalkyl having 1-3 carbon atoms, F, Cl, Br and I. The battery comprising the electrolyte solution of the present application has good cycling life.
