This application provides an electrode assembly and a manufacturing method thereof, a battery cell, a battery, and an electric apparatus. The electrode assembly includes a first electrode plate, and separators provided on two sides of the first electrode plate in a thickness direction of the electrode plate and stacked with the first electrode plate; where in an unfolded state of the electrode assembly, the separator has first edge portions each exceeding an end of the first electrode plate in a length direction of the separator, and the separator has second edge portions each exceeding an end of the first electrode plate in a height direction of the separator; and in the thickness direction of the electrode plate, the corresponding first edge portions on two sides of the first electrode plate are at least partly hot-melt connected to form first hot-melted segments, and the corresponding second edge portions on two sides of the first electrode plate are at least partly hot-melt connected to form second hot-melted segments. The technical solution in this application can enhance the electrochemical performance of batteries and improve the safety and reliability of batteries. |

An embodiment of the present application provides an electrode assembly, a battery cell, a battery, and an electrode assembly manufacturing device and method, which belong to the technical field of batteries. The electrode assembly includes a negative electrode plate and a positive electrode plate, the negative electrode plate and the positive electrode plate being wound in a winding direction to form a winding structure, the winding structure including a bending area. Both the negative electrode plate and the positive electrode plate include a plurality of bending portions located in the bending area. At least one bending portion in the negative electrode plate is a first bending portion, and an active substance capacity per unit area outside the first bending portion is greater than an active substance capacity per unit area inside the first bending portion; and/or, at least one bending portion in the positive electrode plate is a second bending portion, and an active substance capacity per unit area outside the second bending portion is greater than an active substance capacity per unit area inside the second bending portion. In the electrode assembly of this structure, the active substance arrangement in at least part area of the bending area of the electrode plate is more reasonable with better economic efficiency. |

The positive electrode active material includes a lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide, the molar content of nickel in the lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide accounts for 60% - 90% of the total molar content of nickel, cobalt and manganese, and the lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide has a layered crystal structure of a space group R 3m; a transition metal layer of the lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide includes a doping element, and the local mass concentration of the doping element in particles of the positive electrode active material has a relative deviation of 20% or less; and in a differential scanning calorimetry spectrum of the positive electrode active material in a 78% delithiation state, an initial exothermic temperature of a main exothermic peak is 200°C or more, and an integral area of the main exothermic peak is 100 J/g or less. |

A coating-free non-stick pan features a uniform distribution of micro-nano concave-convex structures on the surface of the pan body. The micro-nano concave-convex structures include micro-nano protrusions or micro-nano depressions. The micro-nano protrusions are particle films formed by particles, with the thickness of the particle film ranging from 0.1 to 0.98 µm, and the size of the particles forming the particle film being 0.02 to 0.3 µm. The diameter of the micro-nano depressions includes densely distributed depressions of 0.1 to 0.98 µm.The pan is equipped with micro-nano concave-convex structures with multi-level diameter sizes. The diameter of the micro-nano depressions further includes 40±20 µm and 5±2 µm. The micro-nano depressions are processed and prepared by pressing or corrosion methods, with a depth ranging from 20 to 1500 nm. |

The battery current collector includes a foam metal layer (1) and a strength enhancement layer (2), where the strength enhancement layer (2) is a sheet-shaped metal layer, and the strength enhancement layer (2) and the foam metal layer (1) are stacked and metallurgically bonded, alleviating a problem of poor mechanical performance of current collectors in the related art. The strength enhancement layer (2) and the foam metal layer (1) are connected by metallurgical bonding, which helps ensure not only structural strength of the strength enhancement layer (2) and the foam metal layer (1), but also good conductivity between the strength enhancement layer (2) and the foam metal layer (1). Further, the manner of metallurgical bonding helps reduce production costs. |
