Abstract
According to exemplary embodiments, a secondary battery is provided. The secondary battery may include: a cell case including an inner space; a thermal insulation partition wall separating the inner space into a plurality of accommodating spaces; electrode assemblies accommodated in each of the accommodating spaces; and venting covers overlapping each of the accommodating spaces. Each of the venting covers may be configured to rupture when an internal pressure of each corresponding accommodating space is equal to or greater than a reference pressure.
