Abstract

There is disclosed a power network for a transport climate control system, comprising: a DC bus configured to provide power from a plurality of power sources to a load, including one or more autonomous power sources; one or more autonomous control modules, each associated with a respective one of the autonomous power sources; and a primary control module configured to determine a resource demand value for the power network by monitoring power delivery to the load. The resource demand value varies as a quantitative variable, and each autonomous control module receives the resource demand value and determines whether to cause power delivery from the respective autonomous power source to the DC bus based on the resource demand value and a corresponding resource availability function associated with the respective power source
