Abstract

Embodiments of this disclosure provide a precoding configuration method and apparatus. The method includes: a terminal equipment receives configuration information from a network device, wherein for sounding reference signal resources in a sounding reference signal resource set in which a first parameter (usage) is set to be a first value (codebook), different numbers of antenna ports are configured, and at least one sounding reference signal resource is configured with 8 ports; an antenna group number Ng and corresponding precoder(s) are configured for 8-port transmission of the terminal equipment and a codebook subset is configured for 4-port/2-port transmission of the terminal equipment, or, an antenna group number Ng and corresponding precoder(s) are configured for 8-port transmission of the terminal equipment.
