Abstract
An apparatus for a user equipment, UE, the apparatus may include: processing circuitry coupled to a storage; wherein the processing circuitry is configured to: transmit, to a network, a request for a protocol data unit, PDU, session establishment, wherein the request comprises an indication to support segment routing, SR, as a protocol for user plane in-network computing, wherein the SR is associated with one or more segment routing labels; receive, from the network, an acceptance for the PDU session establishment; and attach the one or more segment routing labels to user plane packets for the user plane in-network computing.
